HD signs Memorandum of Understanding with Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to co-operate on conflict resolution and mediation

The Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 12 May 2017.

The Memorandum establishes a strategic relationship between HD and the Policy Analysis and Development Agency of the Ministry which will involve joint co-operation on issues of conflict resolution and mediation. The Memorandum was jointly signed in Jakarta by HD’s Regional Director for Asia, Michael Vatikiotis, and Leonard Hutabarat, Director of the Centre for Policy Analysis and Development on American and European Regions. The signing was witnessed by the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms Retno Marsudi, and Dr Siswo Pramono, the Head of the Centre for Policy Analysis and Development at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Pierre Vimont, Chair of HD’s Board, and Dr. Surin Pitsuwan, also a member of HD’s Board, were also present.
