The Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) is pleased to announce that Mr Armin Slotta joined its Foundation Board on 14 December 2018.

Mr Slotta has more than 30 years of experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) – including 22 years as a PwC Partner – during which he built strong expertise working with multinational organisations and companies, advising leaders and managers worldwide.

From 2015 to 2017, Mr Slotta managed PwC Germany’s innovation programme as part of which he developed solutions based on mega trends and technology changes.

Until 2015, Mr Slotta was a member of PwC Germany’s Assurance Leadership Team during which time he managed several business units including the company’s Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services and its Audit unit in Frankfurt and Rhein-Main.

After leaving PwC in 2017, Mr Slotta established his own consulting practice as part of which he supports individuals and organisations at a strategic level and in situations of crisis. He currently also serves as Vice-President and Treasurer of the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany.

“We are very pleased to welcome Mr Slotta on HD’s Foundation Board.” said David Harland, HD’s Executive Director. “His extensive expertise in auditing and on financial matters will be very valuable to HD as the organisation continues to develop its operations internationally in the near future.”

December 2018 also marked the end of Ms Irene Khan’s term as HD Board member. Ms Khan stepped down from her position this month after having served the organisation over the last eight years. HD wishes to thank her for her valuable contribution to, and insight into, the organisation and its peacemaking activities.
